Finalmente una bella novità! Ci si aspettava i BATTLE FORCE 2000 ed invece ecco la SKY PATROL!!! A me fa piacere lo stesso!

"The G.I.Joe Collectors Club has posted the brochure for the 2016 G.I.Joe Convention in Loveland, Colorado.
Of note to collectors are the details behind this year’s Convention exclusive set that’s sure to please many, as we’ve heard this particular set mentioned on the boards quite often. For 2016, fans & collectors alike will have the opportunity to add SKY PATROL vs THE COBRA A.D.D.E.R.S. to their Modern Era collections! Here’s the backstory on the set from the Club:
As in past years, there are two different outstanding GIJoeCon sets that every G.I. Joe collector will want to add to their collection. Once again, the club has worked very hard to bring you only the highest quality and most innovative sets possible!
COBRA has installed an advanced radar station on one of the “fourteener’s”, mountains that rise more than 14,000 feet above sea level in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. When G.I. JOE tests their new stealth aircraft at one of the local Air Force bases, they find themselves on a search and rescue mission for the ultimate prize.
The COBRA A.D.D.E.R.S. (Aerial Deployment Daredevil Elite Recon Squadron) are a covert reconnaissance and warfare unit of the COBRA Air Force. These tactical assault glider pilots swoop down on their prey and steal everything they can carry back to their base. They are airborne criminals determined to rule the skies by any means necessary!
The G.I. JOE SKY PATROL are an elite aerial assault team. They use advanced stealth technology to provide offensive and defensive counter air operations. These airborne troopers conduct rapid, infiltration, ex-filtration or reconnaissance missions using specialized deployment systems and tactics. Their goal is to clear the skies by disrupting or neutralizing all enemy forces in their path.
Both the COBRA and G.I. JOE squadron leaders know that command of the sky is crucial in determining the outcome of any

Ottima notizia Neap forse nel film ci saranno i sky patrol ?

Da quel che avevo letto sui vari blog/siti a tema mesi fa, questa notizia non mi sorprende assolutamente. Gli skypatrol erano stati preannunciati allo stesso modo in cui era stata preannuciata la tiger force lo scorso anno, era quindi prevedibile che sarebbero apparsi molto presto.

Per una volta, avrebbero l'occasione di ristampare (senza far ridere nessuno.....) anche tutti e 4 i mezzi storici skypatrol in versione modern, visto e considerato che sono già tutti mezzi che sono stati riproposti nella modern era, ad eccezione dello skyhavoc (magari facessero pure uno skyhavoc che dell' havoc ha davvero tutto - non come il cosiddetto HAVOC II, che è solamente uno snowcat color verde militare - : forse potrebbero poi ristamparne uno in versione classica! )

Il set lo prenderò, quelli moderna li ho tutti.. Vuoi che non faccia un sacrificio per (il probabile) ultimo? Poi sulle esclusive in serie più limitata vediamo cosa si inventano e a che prezzi andranno su ebay..

Se confrontate con le prime figure dei set precedeti, queste mi sembrano più invitanti.

Sky Creeper davvero interessante!
Skydive è carino, già visto (è vero), ma ben fatto.
Però nel complesso, l'avvio è sicuramente positivo, e se prima ritenevo questo subteam un pò triste.. mi sto sinceramente ricredendo

Io non capirò un cazzo...ma con tutta franchezza, e con l'attenuante di non essere prettamente un conoscitore "estremo" dei GI JOE, dico che non ne vorrei uno nemmeno regalato!

Gli ultimi 4 mantengono - a mio parere - mantengono un buon trend stilistico, se confrontiamo l'originale ARAH con l'update modern proposto.
Certo, per tutti e 4 si possono fare delle osservazioni negative del tipo:

Drop Zone a prima occhiata sembra una LEI, in particolare le gambe sono molto sottili e slanciate, ed il casco non mi entusiasma.

Black Volture (che mi sembra nel complesso davvero interessante) ha un collo un pò pronunciato

Air Davil anche questo molto carino se gli togli la visiera trasparente - sembra con quella visiera Deadpool che fa giardinaggio
(ecco il visierone ,usato anche per Altitude non è proprio bello e azzeccato)

AirWave non mi piace il casco e anche il color "cacchetta" non mi entusiasma, però se confrontato con l'originale è un bel update.

La domanda tuttavia sorge spontanea: ma il casco usato per AIR RAID o per GIJOE PIT COMMANDO della linea ROC... erano cosi brutti??
