After eight weeks of voting, more than 24,000 votes, and 600 stories shared, the final results are in and The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis online visitors and fans have determined their favorite toy from the past century. The top toy is G.I. Joe®!

On July 16, the public was asked to weigh in on the ‘100 Toys (& their Stories) that Define Our Childhood’. The goal was to determine favorites from a list of 100 toys iconic of childhood as chosen by curators of The Children’s Museum’s collection. After the initial five weeks of public voting, the list of 100 Toys was narrowed down to the top 20 from which the public was again asked to rank favorites. The results of this last vote determined the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners.

The final order for the top 20 toys is:

Silver: Transformers®

Non so se stupirmi o no...perchè anche per me è così!
UNICI, IRRIPETIBILI, INIMITABILI, MAGNIFICI e...PRIMI IN CLASSIFICA nella hit parade dei miei ricordi passati, recenti, e che verranno (e di quelli di molti altri, a quanto deduco ) G.I.JOE!!!!!!!

giusto per far vedere che sono di mentalità aperta !

mi sa che questa classifica e' valida solo negli usa, fuori da questo territorio i joe non vanno tanto bene....
onestamente mi aspettavo come primi in classifica i lego

La classifica non mi convince.

Chi sono i votanti? Che età hanno? 24.000 persone o voti? 24.000 persone sono realmente rappresentative?

Ad esempio se il 30% dei voti vengono da persone con più di 50 anni è normale che considerano i G.I. Joe anni 60 come il giocattolo migliore, questo perchè la maggior parte dei giocattoli in classifica all'epoca non erano ancora in commercio (ad esempio i Transformers, o i lego che sebbene più vecchi si incominciarono a diffondere solo verso la fine degli anni 60, almeno secondo wikipedia).
